May 01, Kathmandu - The pain of having to leave school midway due to not being able to pay school fees may seem like the end of a bright future for many. But Dr. Kishan Bhandari is a person who has turned that pain into energy and climbed the path of progress. He has achieved a rare achievement at the age of 34.
He still remembers the day the boarding school suddenly ordered him to pay the fees. That moment when he had to leave school due to his parents' weak financial situation had a deep impact on his childhood. Later, his parents admitted him to Kailashbodhi Secondary School in Kathmandu. It was there that the school's principal, Karma Chojang, became the character who changed the direction of his life. 'Father, I could not become a doctor. I will make you a doctor,' she said while holding the arm of child Kishan. This sentence was not only an inspiration for him, it also became a happy turn in his life.
