Apr 04, Kathmandu - Armed Police Force (APF) team secured a comprehensive 10-wicket victory over Karnali Province in the ongoing PM Cup cricket tournament. The match was held in Janakpur on Saturday.
Karnali set a target of 108 runs, but APF chased it down effortlessly in just 12 overs without losing a single wicket.
APF’s standout performers included Asif Sekh, who remained unbeaten on 65, and Dipak Bohara, who scored an unbeaten 42.
Earlier, Karnali's batting lineup was bowled out for 107 runs in 36 overs. Key contributors for Karnali were Arjun Ghartil with 38 runs, Dipendra Rawat with 25, and Ranjendra Shahi with 18. APF bowlers Kamal Singh Airi and Abhishek Gautam took 4 wickets each to dismantle the opposition.
With this victory, APF has moved up to 6th place in the points table with 5 points from 6 matches. Meanwhile, Karnali remains in 8th position with 3 points after 6 games.
